The hype continues to build, as legendary LA sneaker spot UNDEFEATED looks set to finesse another Nike Air Force 1 as part of their recently revealed ‘Dunk vs AF-1’ pack. Part of the crossover project remixing the retailer’s most famous collaborations throughout the years, this latest AF-1 joins a recent ‘Ballistic’ colourway and a Dunk Low for the Indy 500. The Dunk inspiration for this colourway isn’t clear at this stage, but the IYKYK crew will recognise the colours from a past La MJC x colette x UNDEFEATED x NB1500 project from 2012.
Dressed in a faux croc skin upper, this Uptown wears a Knicks-esque blue and orange scheme. UNDEFEATED’s familiar Five Strike logo is embroidered on the lateral heel, while the emblem also appears on the tongue tag. The insoles feature a ‘Dunk vs AF-1’ graphic hit, with the medial mid panel done in a contrasting white hue, matching the Swoosh on the lateral side. Continuing the theme, the medial Swooshes are done in orange. Down below, there’s a yellowed ‘aged’ sole unit, rounding out what promises to be one sought-after sneaker.
No official release date has been revealed for the UNDEFEATED x Nike ‘Dunk vs AF-1’ Pack, but an announcement can’t be too far away. All signs point to a June drop. Stay tuned!
